Classes

Well I hope you all enjoyed the summer in spite of the soggy weather.

You know I love rainy days for painting, and I got quite a bit done this summer.

We are working toward opening a gallery of my work in early November, but I have managed to prepare a few classes for you.

This summer I took a course at The Rufus Porter Museum in Bridgton, Maine.  I am very interested in the work of this early American artist and inventor, and I thoroughly enjoyed the course, the people and the little town.  The course was taught by the foremost authority on the Rufus Porter style of painting wall murals.  I want so much to share this knowledge with you and I have designed a project on canvas.  I hope you will all sign up for this class.

Please visit the Classes section of the website to see all the things I have in store for you. Email the Studio - mary@kleinburgstudio.com or call me at 905-893-1994

Can’t wait to see you all again.

Cheers, Mary.

TRADITIONAL STROKEWORK BOX

I found this lovely pattern in an old magazine and I had to paint it.

I truly love the old traditional stroke designs that our ancestors brought to this continent.  It reminded me of our trip to Vienna and I thought you might enjoy painting this together.

I painted it on a box I had, and I have lots of round boxes in the studio which will sell at a reduced price for this class.  It can also be rearranged for other surfaces (to a point).   What a charming gift for someone special.

Please join me for a very delightful day of strokework.
