Fall Classes 2009
 
 

Hi All:

I hope your summer was good in spite of the weather.

“Lots going on here!”  My class at the Rufus Porter Museum in Bridgton, Maine was a great success and I have been invited back next year.  Marie came with me and we had lots of laughs and met lots of nice people.  We took a rug hooking class -  so we are now  “hookers”.

I would like to take this opportunity to invite you all to the New Release Night, Friday, October 30th, from 7:pm to 10:pm.. I will be releasing 3 new Memory Paintings which have been completed over the past few months. The Gallery will also be open on the Saturday and Sunday from 2pm till 5pm.

I did find time to organize a couple of classes for you.

Have a look and let me know your thoughts.  As you know, dates are usually flexible if we can get organized in time.  Call or email the studio to register as soon as you can.

Traditional Stroke Placemats
   
 

Five different designs, all based on traditional patterns.  I painted these on the round scalloped placemats.  If you  painted these mats last time you can use the reverse and purchase 1 extra mat.

 

 
Date:      Tues., Nov. 17, and Wed., Nov. 18, 2009.
Time:      9: am – 4: pm each day.
Fee:        $150.00 (includes lunch and snacks) 

Surface:  Placemat set (box and 4 mats)  $45.00   

                Individual mats:  $3.00 each.
   
 

Botanical Pillows
 
 

Two beautiful botanicals painted in acrylic on fabric.

The sample pillows are painted in the pinks and burgundy hues, but colour changes can be made to suit your room if necessary.  You may find your own surround fabric and do your own sewing or we will help you choose and Marie will sew them up for you.  These look more difficult than they are.  I really enjoyed painting them.

Fabric is limited so don’t delay!
